My post on Friday about moving prompted some discussion about how often I’ve moved (or been forced to move)

Here is a list of all the places in my life I’ve lived for at least 6 weeks

  1. Peoria, Illinois, USA
  2. San Antonio, Texas, USA
  3. Rümmer, Niedersachsen, Germany
  4. San Antonio, Texas, USA
  5. Medford, New Jersey, USA
  6. Decatur, Illinois, USA
  7. Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, USA
  8. Bann, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
  9. Landstuhl, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
  10. Lawton, Oklahoma, USA
  11. Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA
  12. Bruchmühlbach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
  13. Durham, North Carolina, USA (1st year of university)
  14. Erlangen, Franken, Germany

  16. Bruchmühlbach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
  17. Durham, North Carolina, USA
  18. Hof, Franken, Germany
  19. Durham, North Carolina, USA
  20. Regensburg, Bayern, Germany
  21. Weimar, Thüringen, Germany
  22. Schwabing, München, Bayern, Germany
  23. Maxvorstadt, München, Bayern, Germany

  32. Barbican, London, UK
  33. Moabit, Berlin, Germany
  34. Barbican, London, UK
  35. Poblenou, Barcelona, Spain

Looking at the list I get very tired of moving. London especially was a nightmare - moving 6 times in 10 years, I’m hopeful this time we can have a bit more stability.

* I don’t want to say I alone made Redchurch Street cool, but if we look at the facts they speak for themselves.
